Assalamualaikum and a very good morning ! 

About me ? What is it about me that I have to make a post about it ?

I think I just have to talk about it although I think nobody would care .. hehehe

I was born at Pusat Rawatan Islam (PUSRAWI) , Jalan Ipoh , K.Lumpur . I was born at 21st of May 1998.
I am the last child from 3 siblings . I have 2 older sisters that are 9 years and 6 years apart from me . My mom work as a nurse manager and my father work as a bank officer . My name is Fatin Fathihah . Yes , with a 'H' between 'T' and 'I' . It is actually an error . My name should be Fatihah.

I went to SK Seksyen 7 , Bandar Baru Bangi during my primary school . During secondary school , I went to SMK Jalan Reko the one that appears in Wadi (a TV3 drama last year ) . I went there for 5 years from Form 1 until Form 5 . For me , my secondary school phase , is the greatest for me . Why? Because i met 11 crazy yet wonderful person I would call true friends . Although now , all of us went to different directions -some of them continue form 6 , diploma , matriculation- I would still call them friends .

I am now studying at KMS .Although I am second intake I would really love this place . It is awkward at first , then I met awsome and wonderful classmates here at KMS  .  To be really honest , I'm really stressed here , but when I think about my future's sake and my parents happiness , I try to hold on and keep moving foward (this is from a cartoon movie xD ) .

This phase of my life will be a new turn for me to try new things .

The Category Of Computers

WHAT IS A COMPUTER ? 

Computer is an electronic device(machine) that performs four basic operations ; input , processing , output and storage . 

There are FIVE categories of computer 

• SUPERCOMPUTER



A supercomputer is the fastest , most powerful , most expensive computer and is used for very complex , sophisticated job such as nuclear research , calculating weather patterns , petroleum exploration , online banking , automotive design .It's physical size is a full room of equipment . It can operate at speeds measured in picoseconds-1,000 times as fast as microcomputers . A supercomputer can store more than 20,000, times the data and information of an average desktop computer .

• MAINFRAMES



Mainframe is a large , expensive , powerful computer that can handle hundreds or thousands of connected users simultaneously (multi-user) and storing tremendous amounts of data , instructions and information . It's physical size is a partial room to full room of equipment . It can handle hundreds or thousands of connected users simultaneously at the same time .Mainframe can store tremendous amount of data , instruction and information .

• PERSONAL COMPUTER



Personal computer is a computer that can perform all its input , processing , output and storage activities by itself . It's physical size it fits on a desk . It has various speed depends on the memory and processors . The storage of personal computer is also various depends on the hard drive size .

• MOBILE COMPUTER AND DEVICES



Computing devices small enough to hold in your hand . Mobile computer and devices fits on the lap , palm and pocket . It may be slower than a personal computer and it has a small storage media .

• EMBEDDED COMPUTER



Special-purpose computer that functions as a component in a larger product and perform various functions depending on the product .It is small in size . It may be slower than a mobile computer and devices . It also have a limited or small storage media .

As my first topic of my blog today , I'm going to write about :

The Application Of Information Technology (IT) :

 There are a lot of application of IT that are used in nowadays . Most of the application of IT are very useful for students , workers even elders . 

There are 8 application of Information Technology that can be classified and that is : Travel , Health Care , Education , Manufacturing , Finance , Government , Publishing and Science .

Let's go to the first application and that is Travel 

Vehicles that are manufactured today often include some type of on board navigation system to help you navigate from one location to another . Many mobile devices such as smart phones have built-in navigation systems . There are a lot application that are very useful for travelers .

Navigation System by Global Positioning System (GPS) :

 
GPS System is a radio navigation system that allows land,sea and airborne users to determine their exact location , velocity and time of their destination . 

 Online Reservation : Transportation and accommodation reservation can be done through a website 

• Online Flight Booking

  All products are bar coded and can be read by the computer scanner to help in determining prices and managing inventory.

  
  

  Let's go to the fifth application and that is Finance

  

  An electronic payment system that enables customers of a bank to conduct financial transactions (access account balances , pay bills and copy monthly transactions ) on a website operated by the bank .
  
  
  Let's go to the next application and that is Government

                                                    Let's go to the seventh application and that is Publishing

               The process of making works available to the public . These works include books , magazines , newspapers , music , film and videos . Many publishers make their works available online and websites allow you to copy the work such as a book or music . 

                                     Let's go to the last application of IT and that is Science

It is a embedded chip that allows deaf person to listen

Breakthrough in surgery , medicine and treatments often result from scientists's use of computers . Computer assist them with collecting , analyzing and modeling data . Scientists also use the Internet to communicate with colleagues around the world .
